17-10-2006 - Central Coast Water Festival on 22nd October 2006

The Central Coast Water Festival will be held at Memorial Park, The Entrance on Sunday 22nd October from 9:00am to 5:00pm.

The festival will highlight new water and energy saving innovations and products which will not only save precious resources but will also save money. With a full programme of entertainment, cultural activities, Kid Zone and many other surprises, the Central Coast Water Festival will be a day for the whole family to learn about water-related issues and how we can contribute to saving water to ensure a supply for the future.

The Central Coast Water Festival, is a combination of the best of the traditional Water Festival and the very successful Water Expo held last year at Bateau Bay.

As well as water-saving taps, showerheads and tanks on display, you'll be able to see unusual innovations like waterless urinals, carwashing without water and many other exciting inventions.

The Kid Zone will feature Whizzy the Water Drop, interactive games focusing on water conservation and two shows from the Water Tight Programme.
